Australia Accommodation - Worldwide Homestay is “Here To Stay”

Stay with people who care .

Worldwide Homestay has just launched an Australia-wide network of B&B-type accommodation. The network has quickly attracted over 200 hosts with accommodation ranging from five-star B&Bs to friendly family homestays.

We are targeting local and international travelers,” says director, Andreas Bruchle. “Our site comes in three languages and we have a sister company in Germany to market the network. It was our feeling that Australian B&B accommodation needed an international marketingplatform.”

According to Andreas, there is a big demand from tourists to learn more about Australia by staying in private houses and living the Australian lifestyle. “An increasing number of tourists prefer the personal atmosphere of a B&B or a family homestay as opposed to a hotel. Our motto is ‘Stay with people who care,’ and this is exactly what travelers are looking for.”
The internet site is easy to navigate and accommodation can be searched using different regional criteria. Clicking on a particular homestay brings up a page with its details, including prices. Travelers can also check availability on-line before proceeding with a booking. Payment is made by credit-card using a secure-server. Worldwide Homestay then issues an e-mail voucher with all contact details and directions.
This booking-engine is only one part of Worldwide Homestay’s internet site. There is also the Australia Tour Guide section. “Many of the articles have been written by hosts. This ensures authentic and up-to-date information,” Andreas adds. The discussion group section invites feedback and gives users the opportunity to exchange their opinions and experiences.

“The Australian network continues to grow with a target of 400 homestays by the end of next year,” Andreas says. “We are also looking towards expanding our network internationally and developing a franchise concept for this part of the business.”
